How do I reserve a car?

Come to see us and view the car. Deposits can be made by debit/credit card (up to £1000), bank transfer or in cash! As soon as you've paid your £200 minimum deposit, we will reserve the car and take it off sale for up to 5 days. Please note that deposits are non-refundable.

What if I can't make it to you and want to reserve a car?

We offer a 24 hour deposit scheme, so that you can reserve the car whilst making your journey to us.

Can I test drive the car before purchasing?

Of Course! All of our on site vehicles are ready to test drive. (Please bring your driving licence)

How long have I got to collect a vehicle once a deposit has been placed on it?

We will hold your car for up to 5 days after a deposit has been taken.

Can I drive away on the same day in a car I have just purchased?

Yes. Most of our vehicles are available to be driven away the same day. If, however, you have any specific requests for your car we will arrange an alternate collection date.

Do your vehicles come with any warranty?

We are so confident in our vehicles that we provide a 3 months free warranty on our retail cars (excludes cars sold for spares and repairs). We also offer extended warranties for 1, 2 or 3 years at point of sale!

Where does your warranty cover?

Our Free warranty cover will involve the vehicle returning to ourselves for diagnosis or repair, where as the extended warranties will cover you nationwide at any VAT registered garage.

What is the administration fee for?

We charge an administration fee on all vehicles. This covers administrative and documentation costs pertaining to that specific vehicle.

Part Exchange

Do you accept part exchanges?

Yes! We will accept part exchanges including cars & vans. We will provide you with a provisional price before your arrival subject to seeing it or a complete valuation on site!

What do I need to bring with me if I want to part exchange?

You will need to bring all relevant vehicle documentation, V5 (logbook), Service History, MOT Certificate and Spare Key (if you have one). If you don't have any of these documents available then please let your salesman know!


Can you help me with finance?

Yes! RW Cars are a used vehicle finance specialist & are regulated by the FCA. We can show you the best available options for your situation and budget!

What do I need to bring with me if I wish to finance a car?

Please bring the following proofs:

  • Your Driving Licence OR Valid Passport
  • Bank Details (Name, Account Number and Sort Code)
  • A recent utility bill (Within the last 3 months)

Can I drive away the same day if I purchase with finance?

Of Course! As long as you bring the appropriate proofs with you, you can take your new car straight home!

Can I finance with an external company?

Yes, we do accept external finance. However, there will be a £199 administration fee for processing and documentation to the third party finance company.


Do you negotiate on price?

Our prices are fixed. All of our vehicles are price checked weekly, so there is not need to worry about haggling to get a great price for your new car - We've done the hard part for you.

What payment methods do you accept for deposits?

We accept deposit payments via Credit/Debit Card (up to £1000), bank transfer or cash.

What payment method do you accept for the balance?

The remaining balance can be made by Electronic Transfer/BACS.

Why does the balance need to be Electronic Transfer?

Because of the new ruling on charges for cards, we now only accept balance payments by electronic transfer. We do not want to increase our pricing to cover charges, we want to keep our cars priced correctly and ensure that YOU the customer gets the best value for money!
